some bizzers remained unread, as I was near 36C practically all day and they landed on 36R/06 or took off from 09 and I saw them land or taxi way back in the distance; so: help much appreciated on these: (probably nothing spectacular, but for completeness' sake) Citation landing 1255 (after S5-BBD o...

Only one B757 (and I didn't get that...); the other was A300F OO-DLI, both in the old DHL scheme

2. Through the window of a building which is I think an annexe to the museum I saw Fokker Dr.1 replica (PH-DRI) & Nieuport 28 replica (PH-NIE). Behind them was what appeared to be another F.27 fuselage section, without a fin. Is this the remains of PH-NIV, please? Or maybe something else? 3. Inside...

Reading the 2nd part of your posting, I think you relate to the B-17? Now, somehow I dón't think Guiness is relating to the B-17... Just adding 2 and 2 together: Guiness being THE Irish beer (refreshes the parts other beers can't reach  ), given Guiness' interest in Irish Aviation, his Irish ...

I've seen only once a S64F when driving by at the autostrada ...but it would be really nice to see a chopper like Bubba in the air! I've seen sister ship "748" (N173AC) in action last year over Corfu, Greece. It is a very impressive sight (and sound) and we were more than happy to have her ...

Re: some good old thunderstreak and thunderflash stuff

I must correct you when you talk of runway 24 : EHEH had two runways in use at the time : 08 and 26 and , later on , when the main-runway was not usable anymore the parallel taxi-track was used as 08 Right and 26 Left. Hans You're right, of course; got it mixed up with the 06/24 at nearby Sc...

Re: some good old thunderstreak and thunderflash stuff

Let's continue with this nice and tidy one : two Streaks , one asleep but the other one alert ! :?: Hans Hans, I don't think it is on alert, as I think Eindhoven's tasks (CAS and conventional bombing) didn't require QRA. Mickey I think Hans meant "alert" in the sense of "being awake" at this time; ...

Shouldn't there be 2 extra Belgian 104's there now instead of just one? I thought it where two CM-170,s ex Belgium AF. Almost correct: apart from F-104G's KG+101 and FX-52 (tiger c/s) that were on display during the airport days and that will be on the photocall, four more ex-military aircraft are ...

GPU and VP-BJD block a/c from DDA-side. But they DON'T block the view from the southern part of the fence  The GPU is in the picture, but NOT blocking the aircraft! (Unless they moved the GPU around after 1200 lt, when I was there...!) BTW: aircraft came in with the team of Zenit St. Petersbur...
