Thunderflash and Thunderstreak Photo Topic

As a special favour to the somewhat older viewers among us I would like to dedicate a topic to the - in my opinion -
most impressive fighter-bomber ever built : the Republic F-84F Thunderstreak. 180 examples of this type of aircraft served with the Dutch military from 1955 to 1971.

We will start off with a picture of two 314 squadron Thunderstreaks , parked on their dispersal at Eindhoven AB in 1967

for your information : I took these pictures using an Asahi Pentax photocamera with Tacumar (tele) lenses ; P-173 in 1970 and P-243 on October 21st, 1969
