Sydney-Kingsford Smith 16/17/18/23/24/25-09-2022 CIV + MIL

Hi everybody! as said in the Singapore-topic, work saw me needed to go to Sydney. My first time to Australia and as it's a long way to fly in economy, I had some jetlag recovery-time for sightseeing and spotting. I also added an extra day after my workweek. Anyway, on to the planes. Sydney is, of co...

Singapore-Changi 15-09-2022

Hej everybody! work has brought me to Sydney a couple of weeks ago. One the way there, I had a 3-hour stop-over in Singapore, of which 2 were with daylight. Here's a a few shots from that stop. The pictures were made airside and it was surprisingly quiet with movements compared to my last visit in 2...

Madrid-Barajas 29 August & 1 September 2022

Hi everybody! another work-trip and this time I was visiting my colleagues in Madrid. I had some time after landing (waiting on my team to arrive from other cities) and before flying home. I spend this these few hours near gate D66 in Terminal 2 where there are a few single-glazed non-tinted windows...

Baltimore-International 9 & 11 August 2022

Hello again! As I was working in Baltimore, I took the time after work to drive to BWI for some spotting. Here, I spotted at the Thomas A. Dixon Jr. Aircraft Observation Area, in the approach for runway 33L. It's not the busiest airport but still catched some nice things. 1. Frontier Airlines A320ne...

Washington-Dulles & Reagan August 2022 (CIV + 1 MIL)

Hej all, for work I needed to be in Baltimore and the quickest way was to fly directly from Amsterdam to Washington. As I never been in Washington, I added a bit of the weekend to the trip, also for some planespotting. Washington-Dulles 5 August 2022 Shortly after arriving, I made my way to the top-...

Toulouse-Francazal 28-07-2022 (CIV + 2 MIL)

Hi all! My last topic from the Toulouse-area for now as we’re heading back home. Anyway, on the way back from Toulouse to our vacation home, I made a quick stop at Francazal again to see what’s new: 1. With the US-Bangla ATR gone from it’s spot, I was now able to take a picture of this Chengdu Airli...

Toulouse-Blagnac 28-07-2022

Hi again! While driving towards the city of Toulouse, my son and I noticed a BelugaXL doing circuits around the airport, so we decided to see if we could spot it, as I hadn’t seen one before. 1. Light was a bit tricky but the first interesting aircraft seen was this A320neo F-WWTZ, which is going to...

Toulouse-Francazal 24-07-2022 (CIV + 1 MIL)

Hej! A quick stop at Francazal on a warm and sunny Sunday morning gave the following interesting catches. 1. This Skybridge EMB-120 I-SKYB has been at Francazal for a few years but it was the first time I noticed it. It’s now parked in the corner near the control tower, with all doors open and will ...

Re: Tarbes-Lourdes 23-07-2022

I think in US only GYR offers this kind of level of access to photograph. Maybe VCV in some level too, but only because of the loooong fence line. Nice shots! Earlier this year I was very disappointed when visiting Goodyear due to ongoing construction work, preventing access to the fence. And, inde...

Yes, all from outside the fence. Be prepared to wade through the cornfields to get close to some of the aircraft. :D

Hej all! My wife wanted to go to see Lourdes and who am I to deny that? Well, as long as we could make a quick stop at Tarbes-Lourdes. And so we drove the 1,5 hours to the airport and what was planned to be a quick stop ended up being an almost 1,5 hour session. Luckily the wife and kids were patien...

Toulouse-Blagnac 20-07-2022 (CIV + 1 MIL)

Hi all, As our vacation home this year is just a 35 minute drive away from Toulouse, I kept an eye out for Beluga-flights as I still needed to photograph these. Everyday, early in the morning, the flights pop-up in Flightradar24 and so the family and I made the short commute to Blagnac to witness th...
