Hi Dinger, I can't tell you about the Oceana tour as I have no experience with that. As for Norfolk, I attended the public tour in May 2010. You get to see a lot of the base, like where the admiral lives, the houses that were built for the World Fair in 19xx etc. Unfortunately the interesting stuff ...

Aha, thanks! Some of the pics are so sharp, I was wondering if they were made with a zoom lens or a lens with a fixed focal point. Another reason to trade in my zoom lens, I guess...

Hi George, I was at NAS Lemoore last week (base visit). From outside the fence you can't see anything. The base is huge and in the middle of an agricultural area. Hi all, Don't get your hopes up. The text indicating that the spotters will be located on the south side of the runway was placed on the TLP-site on February 27th.
