Yes they were. But generally you won't see them with retracted gear on take off.

The first nightflying day was a good one. The afternoon saw two fourships heading out to the range. 'Metal1/4' followed half an hour later by 'Shark1/4'. Metal1 came back with a suspected birdhit.
