Re: REQ: 3 May activity?

Thanks Andy! Not the answer I was hoping for of course, but luckily there are some fine museums in the area and I will have a look at that event.

Re: ticket of kesckemet aviable????

I visited the Kecskemet airshow a number of times and I don't recall that I had to stand in line at the ticketoffice for more than 2/3 minutes. However, when you have the ticket it takes some time to get on base because of long queues at the gate. In the past, there never was a connection between ty...

Aviation/diecast stores in the UK

Recently I aquired an interest in (modern) military aviation diecast models (Hobbymaster, Sky Guardians, Corgi etc.). Next week I will be in the UK (London + Birmingham/Lincoln region) and I was wondering if there are some good shops to be found there.

Could anyone help me with some addresses?

REQ: 3 May activity?

3 May is a bank holiday in the UK. Does this effect flying activity? I will be in the Coningsby region and would like to spend a few hours at the fence.

Re: Online storage (photo backup)

A few weeks back I did some research as well and I found these guys: http://www.onlinestoragesolution.com/index.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. $19 a year and unlimited online storage. However, I decided not to go for online storage because I feel the cost of buying a few new HD...

Re: Media storage

I bought a Vosonic VP2160 four years ago. It had to be repaired twice within the first 18 months because of HD failures. I was lucky not to lose any pics, but as I didn't trust the device anymore I threw it away. Nowadays, I just make sure I have enough CF cards for every trip. On longer trips I bri...

Re: Battle of Britain Flight to be axed?

Although I have the aviation virus in my blood and would hate to see the BoBMF and/or Red Arrows go, I do feel a bit uncomfortable with the choices that are made. RAF Cottesmore to be closed (one of the biggest employers in that region), a cut of up to 2.500 jobs (in times of economical crisis), a t...
