Between 1995 and 2005 I've been to Italy many times, not only to enjoy the culture, food and mostly sunny weather, but also to visit the Gruppi (Sqn's) that flew one of the most beautifull aircraft ever build, the F-104 Starfighter. Thanks for sharing, brings back good memories from my own visits to 23rd Gruppo back in the 90's and 2001! To bad this small but well situated base Cervia will be closed by the end of this year! If you got more 'Spillone' please show 'em, can't get enough of them!

Thanks for sharing! Visited Cervia several times in the 90's and really miss those 23 Gruppo F-104's. Already known when Cervia will be closed, still planned for the end of 2010?
