Re: EHAM 29-09-2010

Much appreciated! :respect:

Re: Spottersplekken tijdens Tiger Meet.

The information on spotting locations (and, more importanty, parking locations!) is now available for runway 06R/L (easterly winds) at www.tigermeet.eu ("follow me" section). Undoubtedly, the 24-side will be added soon. Looking good. Keep up the good work guys! :respect:

Req: Ecureuil operating out of RNethNavy base Amsterdam

Tuesday, Sep 21, around 1430 lt I saw an Ecureuil taking off from the Dutch Navy barracks in the centre of Amsterdam. It was equipped with a camera beneath the nose. I was in a tram and staring into the sun ( 8) ) so I could not identify it. As I saw if flying over the port area later on, was it per...

... and if you take a close(r) look at the fuselage, you can see the "Open Skies" titles on the fuselage, mid-section, just below the white upper part. Nice catch, even at that altitude!

Another crash at German airshow, Warngau, 18-09-2010

Saturday Sep. 18 saw another crash at a German airshow, this time at Warngau in the south of Germany. Two aerobatic aircraft collided during their routine; one of them crashed, killing the pilot. From the tiny pics I've seen so far it appears to be an Extra but that might be off the mark. edit...

Re: Inside the Hangars at Schiphol Airport - 2010

Given the fact that even MAS017 (who does a great job keeping track of hangar movements !) isn't sure which KLC F100 is being parted out in the Martinair hangar currently, a long shot: does anyone (else) know which one was inside yesterday (sep. 18)?
