Re: EHEH 08-02-2019 MIL

Hi Just try to put together the serials of what is there now, to decide for my 3rd visit early tomorrow ... Starting with the list of 20 as shown by Buccaneer S.2B, deleting known departures and adding known arrivals, I get a different result than the 11 Blackhawks shown for 15:05. What I see is 1x...

Are you sure this is a serial and not a callsign?
If serial, then it should be 09-07056.
Indeed, this is "Thor".

Re: Europe 2019: US Army 1st CAB, 1st Infantry Div. helicopt

Chièvres has 600ft cloudbase / overcast. Beneath that, the visibility is 9000m. And the rest of the weather forecast says the grey muck will not clear before the evening. In fact, that is the most thickly clouded/overcast area in whole NW Europa at this point in time :-( So, the problem lies there, ...

Re: Europe 2019: US Army 1st CAB, 1st Infantry Div. helicopt

I think the low cloud base is the culprit. if they fly at 1500-2500 feet they are in grey muck all the way. Overcast was 1200-1500ft but clouds will be more broken later this afternoon. New NOTAM for restrictions civil air traffic in Zeebrugge area from 2 to 10 February (older NOTAM was until 2 Febr...

Re: Remains of EP-1577 at Pauluknys - LIT who can help?

The H391B of the Peruvian ejercito were EP-1570 to EP-1574.
But the markings seem to point to Ejercito del Peru, and not all is known of said force in the sixties...

Okay, thanks!
From the perspective you describe, the two Apaches were Q-29 and Q-25.

Re: Europe summer 2018: US Army 4th CAB,4th Infantry Div. he

So two wore C Troop markings and a C Troop name on the LH side, but because they did not have anything on the RH/starboard side (and we neatly want 8 for each Troop) must be A Troop? That is one leap too far for me, because there are several with no markings on the LH side that did have B/C Troop ma...

Re: Europe summer 2018: US Army 4th CAB,4th Infantry Div. he

Just to share some of our notes (we did not get all the markings, all apply to the port sides), colour markings to clarify agreement (green) or disagreement (red), and (blue) = could you please double check your notes to confirm? More will become clear if they are photographed while travelling South...

Re: Europe summer 2018: US Army 4th CAB,4th Infantry Div. he

There were at least two with the playing card of A Troop (no Company/Co. this is CAV :-) ) from memory, the two parked most South on the quay at least. It seems that: A Trp uses Spanish names and casino terms (snake eyes), they have a white playing card with a red skull(?) B Trp uses Americana (all ...
