Thanks to EOS, Per, and Hans for the replies. Very useful.

Hans, I did not go into the field but stayed on the concrete road. I couldn't read the missing numbers from the road nor the hill at Corenne.

Joris

Hi, Following take-off of the TLP participants last Wednesday (29-10), four aircraft were left on the platform. Besides an EAV-8B+ (presumably VA.1B-35/01-923), an F-16CG (presumably 88-0510/AV), also a (Spanish) F/A-18A and a Tornado F3 of 111sqn (presumably either ZE788/HV or ZE968/-). Could someo...

Hi,

Shortly before the Slovakian An-26 started up, Italian Falcon 900 MM62171 left the Melsbroek side. The P180 was already present at that time. Nose on, so no number unfortunately.

Interesting pics! Makes me wonder what the current tail number is. It used to be I-CFSO, and it looks like they changed it into CFS15SO (a combination of code CFS-15 and serial I-CFSO), but I am curious whether that is the correct serial...

Hi,

Just a wild guess, but maybe these are the first examples of the 81st FS to be modified to A-10C standard. Destination would likely be Hill or Davis-Monthan where also mods are carried out.

Frank, The old ones are SF260D and not SF260M but you are right with the + on the rudder. That is not quite correct... The first series (ST-01 through ST-36) were in fact SF.260MB when delivered new to the BAF. Later on, they bought additional (second hand) Marchetti's of the subtype SF.260D (starti...
