Air Namibia will pay $90 million for two new Airbus A319-100 planes to be delivered in 2014, the Namibian daily newspaper New Era said on Wednesday, citing an Airbus executive.
"We have signed the letter of intent with Air Namibia for the purchase of two aircraft," Hadi Akoum, Airbus' vice-president for sales in Africa, was quoted as saying.

Air Namibia, the national carrier in the southern African nation, is phasing out its Boeing fleet in favour of Airbus, as part of a cost-cutting turnaround strategy.

Chinese lessor ICBC Leasing has signed an order with COMAC for 45 C919s.
I suspect that these will be placed with Chinese carriers other than those already with orders for the type (Air China, China Southern Airlines, China Eastern Airlines, Hainan Airlines).

Air Pacific from Fiji has ordered 3 A330-200 from Airbus to replace its 2 B747 and 1 B767. It has to be said though, I will believe it when I see it. In the past years Air Pacific has already ordered and cancelled A330s and ordered and cancelled B787s. Besides that they are not too good a financial shape.
Anyway, press release on the Airbus site.

Not so much a new order, but there are some significant changes in the Boeing orderbook. DAE (Dubai Aerospace Enterprise) switched 5 B747-8F on order to 5 B777-F. DAE had 15 orders for the B747-8F, so 10 remain. However, Bloomberg reports these 10 might be switched to the B777-F eventually as well. Kind of a blow to the B747-8.... again.

On the Dubai Air Show, Emirates has ordered 50 Boeing 777-300ERs. Emirates also gained options for 20 more B777-300ERs.
This is the highest valued Boeing order ever, and the net order tally for the B777 this year stands at 182, also a record.

Oman Air has ordered six B787-8s. These were actually already ordered by ALAFCO, and will thus not expand the orderbook for the 787.

Boeing Press Release

ALAFCO has firmed up its order for 50 A320neos, which previously was only an MoU. ALAFCO also has taken 30 options on the A320neo, and those are expected to be finalized by year end.
