Yep....as long as you find cash machines with the Maestro sign on it, you're ably to collect money. Most of the cash machines in Hungary accept your "Maestro-card".

Perhaps it's a good idea to collect money when passing the border. You have to stop there anyway to get your car-vignet.

Best regards, Rob.

almost weekend!

Before I am unable to use the internet due to travelling to Kecskemet, I would like to give a big  to tomcat_hun and LHKE especially (and all others) for their efforts to keep the non-Hungarian-speaking world up to date on all matters concerning this airshow: travel, weather, grandstands, entry, cash machines, tickets, camping, trains... the lot! Great job guys, it's very much appreciated :day:

Hope you will be rewarded with a very worthwile airshow; hope you will be as excited about the western-European presence as we are about the Hungarian AF and the South-East-European participants!

THANKS :yourock:

Bus to the airbase

Post by Tomcat_hun »

Hi,

for those of you who are willing to take the bus from the city:

besides the regular local bus service (line no.4) the Kunság Volán also provides special shuttle buses over the weekend on the following routes:
a) Noszlopy Gáspár Park - Railway station - airbase
b) Széchenyi Square - airbase

You can only use on these line the special retour tickets (400 HUF) which are printed for the occasion of the airshow, and the single tickets bought from the driver (245 HUF). Please note that the special retour tickets are being printed in different colours for Saturday and Sunday, so if you buy'em in advance, pls tell at the ticket office for which day you buy it.

There will be parking lots at:
a) Kecskemét-Dél (Kecskemét South) exit of Motorway M5
b) along route 54
c) at kilometer 8 of the route 44

Shuttle buses will run from these parking lots to the airbase. Shuttle bus service between the parking lots and the airbase are free of charge.

For the Hungarian-speaking fellow colleagues more info here: http://www.kunsagvolan.hu/kecskemetihel ... to_rep.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Best,
Gábor
