It seems planes left, that were reported in earlier ( EdA EF-18's ... ) and a Hind showed up ?
Any more changes ?
Were the Navy Rafales seen flying or on flightline?
How about positions during the day, were these good / enough room etc. ?

Thanks in advance

Some tips for your visit on June 14. Be early at the parking location in St. Derrien as the security takes a lot of time. I have been waiting there for more than 2 hours. The foto location along the taxiway is quite long so space enough. Some possibility for taking pictures on the flightline. E2 is flying in the morning only. Take off round 0930. Landing round 12. Mass take off round 10.
Afternoon wave is loose formations. Take offs between 15 and 1630.
Hope you have good weather. Enjoy.

Cheers,

A couple of additions/queries to add to the list,

A Falcon 10MER departed around the same time as the Swiss B1900D & didn't return, number anyone?

A German Transall arrived just after the Austrians had landed, there were only a few people left waiting for buses. I was unable to read from the bus as it was taxiing in, number anyone?

Where was Rafale M 40 seen please? In addition to those reported I read 44 that was in one of the hangers opposite the active ones. The hanger opened briefly before the afternoon flying started then closed again.

Not seen, but the Royal Navy guys said their Merlin was tech in the hanger.

Thanks
Andy

German Transall was 50+82. We didn't read the departing Falcon, but 143 landed just before the German Transall. Might have been that one, but confirmation needed.

Dave,
Where you there all day or just morning?
They were thinking of putting earlier buses on, to get out of the base, can you or anyone help please?

We were there until ?14:30 ?15:00. We were told that the buses would start at 17:30, which would not have been early enough for us to catch our flight from Rennes. However a Marine Nationale officer was kind enough to give us a lift to the main gate & call us a taxi, so we got away on time. A lot of people needed to get away earlier! I reckon the taxi drivers had a good day :)

It might be worth petitioning the organisers now to ask them to lay on the shuttle buses at an earlier time for next week.

Hi all, two questions from me:

- At 10.45 lt, a French AF A340 was noted flying overhead at high altitude. Did anyone happen to log that?

- And does anyone have a breakdown of which Navy Rafale was where? I managed to read 8 from photo's, so these were on the flightlines or flying: 8, 10, 11, 21 (towed from hangar to the right of the tower when seen from spotting area; there was another one in there that was towed out in the afternoon), 32, (36; the white tiger), 43, 45. Where did David see the 2, 19, (20), 29, 31, 46 please?

Always going forward... still can't find reverse!

The buses were scheduled to shuttle between 1730 and 1830 however due to the bad weather and the many requests they started 20min earlier on Thursday.

Cheers,
