By the way, I find it fascinating, that you are actually "forced" to open a account on PayPal, in order to participate ...

Although the NTM website says that all emails requesting payment have been sent out I have not received mine, neither has a friend. I wonder how many others have not received anything yet.

Hi Roberto,

thanks for reply. I have already sent emails to both the contact addresses. I was just wondering how many others had not heard anything yet.

I see on Facebook the organisers have asked people to complete a survey as to whether there should be shuttle buses at 14h00. Judging by the comments, people seem to be reading the request as a choice between buses at 14h00 or buses at 17h00. But my take is that the possibility of buses at 14h00 is in addition to the evening buses. Anyone else agree with my reading of the request?

Personally as I'll be travelling up the Belgium to attend Florennes the following day, I'd welcome the additional 14h00 shuttle busses.

Regards

Niall

Niall

I think your time of 17:00 is incorrect. The website quotes getting people off base between 17:30 and 19:30. In which case I think that a lot of people should vote for the 14:00 buses. Bear in mind it is just so that they can assess demand, its not a commitment to leave at 14:00. If the weather is ==censored== and you have to drive to Florennes do you really want to leave at 19:00?

Martin,

Yes, a slight typo in the reference to 17:00.

Happy you are reading their post as additional buses and not instead of the evening buses, which a lot on FB seem to be assuming. Hopefully the additional buses at lunchtime are laid on.

I'm not driving up to Florennes - I've to catch a train around 16.00 to head up to Belgium - a relaxed routing.

Thanks for replying to my question.

Hopefully the weather plays ball.

Regards

Niall

Hello to all,

Does anyone know if you can switch dates for the Tiger Meet? I have already paid for the 8th but need to switch and only go on the 14th due to a change in family plans. I have emailed the folks in charge of the Tiger Meet but haven't heard back from them. I know they are busy but as each day goes by and I don't have an answer I get more nervous.

Maybe you can send a new request for the 14th and ask for a refund for the 8th. Than at least you have your space reserved. The risqué is double cost if they refuse to refund.

That would be a great idea. I'm not worried about the money, I just want to make sure I can go!

I saw on the tiger meet website that they wanted payments made by May 15th. Does anyone know if there are spots still available for the 14th spottersday?

I have emailed them twice in the last week and a half and still waiting for a response.

Hi,

Is it allowed to bring in a scanner. On google i read that it is not allowed to use a hand scanner. Anyone experience with scanners in France?
