I can not stay behind and show you a couple of my Japanese favourites. My trip to Japan was in 1998, in the analogue era, so I provide some scans made by a trustworthy CanoScan 4400F.
These were not photoshopped and certainly not edited in Lightroom, as I do not have the latter programme.
All were taken with a blue pen although I sometime use a black one. The booklet can vary in colours, but never a very bright one.

The numbers were originally processed into a blue binder, but with the introduction of the computer this changed to Word Perfect 5.1, later Word Perfect 6.0 followed by several versions of Microsoft Word.
A couple of years ago this data was processed into a database. Early one a very simple one, but for a couple of years now I use a custom made one. This is very nice and I am very happy with it.
