ImageThis is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum.
Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post.
In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Corfu is a great airport for spotting
Of course apart from the fact that it is in Greece, and there is still a serious risk of getting into trouble for photographing (or spotting) aircraft, like very recently proven again.
Shots are nice though!

On Corfu, almost no risk at all. In 2017 I went spotting there and was asked by 2 officers what I was doing .
I Explained them a bit about spotting and they were completely fine with it

As explained several times before: in Greece, there is a big difference in attitude towards spotters depending on who "owns" the airfield. If it is a military installation, you are likely to get into trouble when spotting -even from the civil terminal- (the november open days and the Athens Flying Week at Tanagra are the exceptions, although even then you must follow the rules there). If, on the other hand, it is a fully civil owned/operated airport like Corfu, there are no objections even for the C-130's, C-27's and firefighting aircraft, although on some rare occasions you might be asked not to photograph "sensitive" aircraft passing through. That said, most airfields are indeed military... even the popular ones on Crete and the Peloponesos, so take serious precautions there, or don't even bother to take the risk.
