Mönchengladbach Airport - very busy these days!

Post by Helifelix »

Yesterday and today, I spent some time to see 16 ATR's (+ scrapped ones) in 24 hours!

I like this place as there is a great plenty of spots to take photos 8)

Here some results...

Today, 31.01.2015:

Only some parts of that metal will fly again :(

One of two danish a/w ATR72, the other, also outside for a short time, was OY-EBW...

I hadn't the time to wait for two further ATR arrivals, Air France and MistralAir.

Some other pics, made yesterday afternoon (30.01.2015):

EI-CBK (ATR42 AerLingus c/s) and T-729 (Beech1900 SwissAF) were also active.

Further some other aircraft, some businessjets, or this nice football charter were seen:

Please notice, MGL can also be very quiet...

Have a nice evening,

Do you know the registrations of the two taped UTAir ATR's?

Today the row was E7-AAD, ??-???, D-BLAU, ??-???

Also I would like to know the reg's of the American Eagle ATR fuselage without cockpit, the white fuselage on dollies and the former Air France ATR with red gearstruts.

I'm sorry Geert, I'm not sure with these ATR's...

AirFrance has to be former F-GVZZ, I think the ATR behind is an Irish one, EI-CPT.

Hey, I found it out now about the UTAir's.

The first one is UR-UTE, followed by D-BLAU (ex UR-UTD), then UR-UTF.
The others outside are VP-BLN, VP-BLJ, VP-BCA.

In the hangar is also VP-BLU 8)

Hey Mark,

there is also activity on saturday and sometimes on sunday, too.
Most pics of the report are taken on a saturday (31.01.15)...

But please, don't expect that much movements. Perhaps just have a try on the way to Düsseldorf :)

Greetings,
Felix
