Same as last time, coming from Abelag / Cargo than it's the first hangar with round roof.

I can confirm one VH-60 parked inside the hangar at Melsbroek.

I doubt if a second one is also there because there was only one C-17 to drop of helicopters?? Last time at Rotterdam and Brussels they needed 2 C-17s for 2 helicopters... So who can confirm there are really 2 VH-60s present?

Actually this is not the first hangar with round roof as all hangars at Melsbroek have this. Better to describe that it is the second hangar (with round roof top) starting from the Police-side.

One VH-60 was seen over Brussel on 31-5, this did most probably come with C-17 44134 on 31-5 in the morning.

Yesterday indeed 3 C-17s but I presume these were bringing cars and other equipment, no helicopters.

Hi Rene,

Could you describe in which part of this hangar you saw these VH-60's? The platform is located south east of the hangar, so in which part have you seen them?

Thanks.

Hi,

The C-17's left like is always the case.
They will return after visit of POTUS. Deploy either from Ramstein or straight from the US, and will fly all the gear back to the US or next destination (in case of this visit, straight back to USA).

So expect them back on Thursday evening and possibly also during Friday ;)
