Hi Peter,
Very nice pictures, well done.
Always nice meeting you somewhere around the world.
4Aviation was also present with a large group and we were in Morocco for four full days. We had plenty of time to observe all the movement, talk to the nice aircrew and visit the great city of Marrakech where there is lots to see and do.
We will be back for sure in 2016 when the Air Force celebrates its 60th Anniversary.
Here is a selection of the pics I took.
1) Gazelle being towed away after the show ended on Saturday.
2) Beautiful F-16 heading home on Sunday morning.
3) Spanish Patrulla Aguilla head on.
4) You might call this exclusive, an Moroccan Alpha jet taxiing out on Sunday morning. We were allowed on base with a small group of photographers.
5) Visiting SA330L on Sunday, probably to bring the crews for the other four Pumas present.
6) KC-130H with two F-5s, no phony hook-up, but the real stuff!
7) CL-415 dropping red stuff with water.
F-16C 8003 going skyhigh on Saturday.
9) Beautiful F-5E taxiing out on Sunday morning.
10) Four T-6Cs in their daily fly past. Fourteen different ones were seen during our stay at Menara.
11) Spanish C295 bringing some spare parts for the unlucky Patrulla Aguila. I think the houses in the back have great TV reception.
12) What a great formation! Wicked KC-130H with six fighters in a great colour scheme.
13) Taking pictures on the static was a bit difficult and impossible without any barriers. But quite happy with this one which we did not see leaving Marrakech.
14) Four Moroccan Mirage in tight formation. A total of six were seen this trip.
15) Flight line on Sunday morning, all the "heavies" in a row.
16) The Alpha Jet formation consisted of the same five aircraft every day.
17) The large number of helicopters on the grass only gave one large show while we were there. Too far away for most of the time, till they flew right over our heads!
18) Mirage F1 144 heading for the moon.
19) AB206 on the static, five more were parked in the grass. One of them was a AB206A with the lower skids.
20) Ok, my lens needed some cleaning. This Beech is taxiing out to the runway on Sunday morning.
21) Spectacular take-off of the CASA 235 on Saturday. It circled nicely around us providing dozens of lovely pictures.
22) T-6 on its home base. This one was not displayed at the static the whole time. It was towed away on Thursday morning.
23) Last one for now, four Moroccan Air Force F-5Es. Me like a LOT!
