A400M @ LFBO Toulouse

Post by Shunn31 »

Today, on March 09, the first Airbus Military A400M has landed at LFBO at 03h30 pm approximatively !
So many people (spotters, enthusiasts, workers on EADS factory) were around the airport to see it but less during the A380 first flight...
I was here, the sun also but in a very cold day :)

Me neither! It's a great looking beast; many similarities to the C-17 of course, but with the additional benefit of those huge props.

I think most of them consider it ugly just because it's an Airbus.....

Beauty is a matter of opinion, but why would Airbus still display the South African flag on the aircraft, since their order has been canceled before it made its first flight? The marketeers could do better...

This strategy is called "wishful thinking" and is often used by marketeers ;)

Nice pics you made there and how it looks is a matter of taste, but I love those huge props. Talking about the props, are they contra rotating, if you look to the shape of the blades it should be. There is a diference between the the inner and the outer prop.
