A couple of years ago the French also had a naval parade in the south with the ships operating out of Toulon and sailing in line astern alongside a certain distance of the French coast...and distant enough to make photography of helo's on board rather difficult! And you will have back light!
If there will be a US carrier it will almost certainly not dock in the port but a little outside to retain a certain security clearance zone around the ship and I am not sure if the port of Toulon can handle a US carrier.
