I thought it was mentioned earlier on this MB, but was unable to find it again...
I know it is quite early, but ...
This year, the Summer Olympics will be held in Paris, starting on the 26th, with the Place de la Concorde being used for some of the "urban sports events".
As a result, the default route following the Champs-Élysées to Place de la Concorde will not be available for the military parade.
This years route for Bastille Day (Le Quatorze Juillet) originally was planned to be from Vincennes to Place de la Nation, on the East side of Paris.
But for 'logistical reason', it was recently changed again, to Avenue Foch, from Porte Dauphine to the Arc de Triomphe.
Anybody with a good alternative to the bridge in Nanterre to view the approach of the aircraft?
[.. Edited to reflect the change from Vincennes to Avn. Foch ]
