Re: Shiny Two at night

Usually if there are jets parked out at night, the pan lights are turned on. This is on the 29 Squadron pan and they usually hangar their Typhoons at night.

Shiny Two at night

Popped over two Coningsby last night and managed to get a good angle on Shiny Two through the fence. Sadly, the tail of the King Air encroaches on the image but I am reasonably happy with the result. http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/mm176/dinger1976/TornadoGR4AZA398RAFConingsby.jpg http://i296.pho...

Fort Worth JRB 27 April 12

Day two at Fort Worth brought out the F-35's. One flyer and three ground moves. As well as this there were a few visitors including an E-3B in the circuit and a T-1A Jayhawk. The locals were fairly busy as well. http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/mm176/dinger1976/Fort%20Worth%2027%2004%2012/C-12R94-...

Fort Worth JRB 26 April 12

This is a cracking place and I would really like to go back in the future. The only frustration being that the F-16 lift off shots are taken at 420mm and cropped so are a little grainy. Other than that, a brilliant place for variety and movements. http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/mm176/dinger1976/...

Tinker AFB 30-04-12

Had a productive couple of hours on the approach at Tinker the other day. Sadly I missed three E-6B's departing one after another and a pair of visiting A-10's which departed as I arrived. I did manage to get a couple of the locals in the pattern and a visiting KC-130T from Fort Worth. http://i296.p...

Joint Warrior 12-1 17th - 18th April

I only had a brief visit to Lossie on the afternoon of the 17th, luckily the P-8 departed on its first mission. Then on the 18th, I was fortunate enough to attend the Joint Warrior Enthusiasts Day. Here are a few images from my time there. 17 April 12 (pm) http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/mm176/di...

Joint Warrior 12-1 16 Apr 12

There has been some great coverage of Joint Warrior 12-1 throughout the week and here is my take in a cracking day in the sun on Monday. It was great to bump in to the locals as well, you know who you are. The participants http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/mm176/dinger1976/Joint%20Warrior%2012-1/P-...

VX-1 P-8A Posiedon @ RAF Lossiemouth

I had the good fortune to be able to attend the Joint Warrior Enthusiasts Day at RAF Lossiemouth today. It was a very well organised event and the highlight for the day and indeed the whole exercise is the first visit to UK shores of the P-8A Posiedon. The sun shone while we were at the Posiedon res...
