Callsign requested

Does anyone have the callsign of the Chinook (D-106) that was practicing with the bambi bucket at Ede yesterday?

Currently again active East of Doetinchen. Looking at their altitudes and speeds they are also dropping para's over the Gaanderhei between Doetinchem and Varseveld.

Re: Texel airshow 4 August 2018

Source? A good one, easily found...
Someone within the airshow organisation. I was planning to go especially for the Catalina as it would be the last time to see her fly. Not sure if I'm still going now. Too bad.

Re: AirVenture Oshkosh 23-29 July

Thanks for your reply Roger. Really appreciated. I'm very much aware that Oshkosh is not your regular air show. I guess I did however expected some sort of (rough) schedule as who is flying on what day. I do not need to know the exact hour. I'm in the neighborhood for business so I thought I'd pop b...

AirVenture Oshkosh 23-29 July

Does anyone have link or information about the participants of the air show (and/or static show) at Oshkosh this year? Their own website still does not mention any schedule although it's only 5 weeks away. The only one I could find is from last year. https://www.eaa.org/en/airventure/eaa-airventure-...

"but be aware that security has been raised to a new level: it is now FORBIDDEN to bring your own food and drinks to the spottersday. This message can be found on the website"

Can't find this anywhere. Can you provide a link? Otherwise I'm taking my own bammetjes and cola with me.

Some nice picture. A real shame they moved the Vulcan outside. She used to be inside as far as I know.
The weather did not do her well.

Think the line up is very confusing. One page mentiones a UK Spitfire but it is not mentioned in the time table.

Very nice set. Where did you take the photo of the A380? Is that the taxiway near the soccerfield at Bonaero Drive by any chance?

Re: Trip to Vegas - Nov 16 (civ + mil)

How fitting. The 737 in photo # 51 is used to shuttle personnel from Las Vegas to.....Area 51 (and some other ranges) The airline's unofficial name is JANET (Just Another Non Existent Terminal) :) and it's surrounded in secrecy. All operations are very hush hush. And I think the guy in the F-86 Sabr...

Re: Luke AFB 02/14/17 [MIL]

Hard to imagine that the "16" era is coming to an end at Luke. The F-35's don't look nearly as nice. Last May I had 27 active F-16s and 10 active F-35As in 4 hours. Lived in Phoenix in 2009/2010 and spent many hours at the fences. Back then you would get 27 F-16's in almost half an hour. How times c...

Nice catch. Never knew they ready the helicopters for flight on the docks and fly straight off?
Must have arranged some special clearance for that.
