Re: Fort Worth NAS JRB/Carswell Field, TX (NFW) - 2012 MIL

The other AFRC C-130 was 85-0035 908AW/357AS (Maxwell/MXF) as Cody 01 on Thu 23 Aug (dep to Homestead/HST).

Additionally, C-130J-30 04-8153 403AW/815AS (Keesler/BIF) Hobby 64 arrived Sun 26 Aug.

Looks like the Tyndall F-22s (c/s Hornet xx) have gone to Sheppard per FlightAware.

Re: Fort Worth NAS JRB/Carswell Field, TX (NFW) - 2012 MIL

3 x F-16 as Retro 97/98/99 left Fort Worth Wed 22 Aug 1300Z/0800LT, supporting tanker was Blue 47, a/a on 284.1 (Lockheed Pri). Mark, this might be the last three to Morocco (other than the two at Edwards--should be 8015/16 which will be delivered in '13 per Jon Lake) you referenced above. Adding to...

Re: United Stated Marine Corps Unit Deployment Program (UDP)

Could VAQ-132 with its EA-18Gs be the replacement? Although not an F/A-18 squadron specifically and based at Misawa instead of Iwakuni, it arrived for the standard six-month deployment about the same time that VMFA(AW)-121 departed. This would be the first time in a while that VAQ/VMAQ expeditionar...

Re: F-35 Lightning II JSF developments

Also, previous article posted above mentions nine aircraft "delivered" this year (not including today), but I count ten: BF-6 thru -12 and AF-14 thru -16. (I am not sure if the last four have actually been ferried yet.) Any comments/corrections welcomed. BF-12 was not yet included in the figures: w...

Re: United Stated Marine Corps Unit Deployment Program (UDP)

On 20th July at least two aircraft from VMFA(AW)-121 passed through Fort Worth Alliance after returning from UDP: 164679/VK-13 F/A-18D (ATARS) 164882/VK-16 F/A-18D Another three (using callsign Combat 41) transited through NASJRB Fort Worth on the 22nd heading east. These are presumably ferry flight...

Re: F-35 Lightning II JSF developments

Hi all, Today there was apparently a delivery of F-35A(s) to Edwards (callsign LITNG62)--flight of three so AF-17/18 + chase aircraft? Also, previous article posted above mentions nine aircraft "delivered" this year (not including today), but I count ten: BF-6 thru -12 and AF-14 thru -16. (I am not ...

Interesting, looks like VAQ-135 (expeditionary--'NL-52x'). Any idea on their destination (VMAQ-2 already at Bagram)?

F-15s from SJ? [ Post made via Mobile Device ] http://www.aviationcorner.net/show_photo.asp?id=251221 This might explain the 336FS deployment (considering the 391FS already deployed recently to Afghanistan), although I think the author means 449AEG (not 380AEW): http://theaviationist.com/2012/05/11...
