seen it myselfs last week at IAH.
Banking hard over the airplane on departure it looked to me like its not standing on a platform rather than on a gras surface north.
Looking at maps it seems to be right between Farrel Rd and Landfill 2 Rd.

Today at 13:50L the third B-747 for Air Cargo Germany (ACG) landed at Hahn-Airport. Transferring from Amsterdam the old Martinair PH-MPQ is in new ACG colour scheme but still wearing the original registration. I was able to take some shots of the AN-2 at Twenthe Airport yesterday.
A pitty I wasn't there earlier that day, taken late afternoon. The aircraft is in excellent condition, at least from what I saw.

Can anybody please be so kind and translate the newspaper-article in english for me?
