Read on FC that contaminated fuel may have been the cause of this crash. At least one A10 had this problem at Bagram last Monday.
Seems the E11A did make a Mayday call at 42000ft when the problem had occured.

At the moment near Birmingham U2S 68-10337 climbing passing Fl 400 did it take off in UK Mildenhall ? Adsb info She was at FL600 at some point over the North Sea. Yes they have. It's 1000ft above the highest obstacle. Preferably they circumnavigate populated areas.
