Vikings at Lajes

Four USN S-3 Vikings arrived from NAS Jacksonville at Lajes tonight as Mazda 31-34 with supporting KC-10 Gold 81.

Homestead F-16s

Hi,

The 482FW F-16s returned this evening from Moron to Homestead as Trend 11 and Trend 21 flight.
The supporting KC-10s were Cacti 61 and Cacti 71.

These 390FS F-15s departed from Mountain Home AFB to Lajes as Trend 71-76, and returned last week via Moron to Langley AFB.

ANG F-16s returning from Iraq

Hi,

The F-16s returned this evening to Des Moines, Iowa as Trend 11-16 and Trend 21-26. Supporting tankers for their last leg were Blue 63 and Blue 73.

The 335FS Eagles returned this evening to Seymour Johnson AFB as Mazda 41-45, Mazda 51-55 and Mazda 61 flight.

Probably in early May, an undisclosed number of A-10s from the 303rd FS, 442nd FW (AFRC), Whiteman AFB, Missouri (tailcode KC), will go trough Lajes and possibly also trough Sigonella. Hi,

Twelve Harriers departed from Cherry Point this afternoon, with two airspares returning. Mazda 11-15 and Mazda 21-25 should be arriving at Lajes this evening.
