6-8 Austrian Eufi's? Seems a bit much. Austria has only 15 Eufi's.

Generatie is een verkeerd gekozen woord. Ik bedoel de vliegtuigen die nu nog actief zijn. Vaak ontwikkeld eind jaren zeventig en tachtig. Denk aan de F15's, F16's, Tornado's en zo.

Mooi bericht en ik begrijp dat de F-35 in de toekomst het luchtruim bewaakt.

Toch zie ik de komende jaren liever nog de huidige generatie vliegtuigen deelnemen.

Only missing participants are the US F-15's, belgian F-16's, portugese F-16's and some dutch F-16's from Volkel.

If the weather stays bad, perhaps the F15's arrive in the weekend? Or weekend stop at Lakenheath and arrive on monday Leeuwarden.

Other question. Will the F15's fly some local missions? I believe last year they did.

As far as I know this is only for two years, during the transition to F-35. So if my info is correct, the next Frisian Flag will be held in 2020. Best regards Rob I do hope you are well informed. Then, 2020, it will be a Frisian Flag with dutch F-35's. But only time will tell if your info was right.

I heard that this years 2017 Frisian Flag will be the last one held. It seems (what people told me) it has to do with the transition to the F-35 "Lightning II" in the upcoming years.

Another great exercise nearby gone (after TLP at Florennes).

As it seems that the upcoming week equipment is brought to Leeuwarden does this mean that 12 "JZ" F-15's wil arrive somewere after the 20st of March? Frisian Flag starts on the 27th of March. And will some F-15's stay at Iceland? Just like last year? Or will Leeuwarden see all 12 of them? Just curio...

Facebook says: registration has started since yesterday. Spotterday with sunsetshoot has limted places.

11 april: spottersday till 20.30 hour

12 april: heli day from 10.00 - 17.30 hour

When want to visit the spotterday you have to buy a combi ticket for spotterday and heli day.
