Re: Bucharest International Air Show 22 july 2017

Sleegertje,
Thanks for posting.
If you are referring to the C-27 c.1545hrs, the 2 MiGs were 6707 and 6010.
Regards
Freeman
p.s. do not forget the typo in your log : it was 4049 and not 4048

Stuart,
Wasn't A122 at the eastern end of the field? From the static ramp it could be seen past the CN235 and Cougar.

Andy,
In July 2016, we noted 2 or 3 from those stored at 48.633998° 4.918710°.

This would be new information?
'7-IP' stored here has previously been quoted as 'A127'.

Re: Paris 14-07-2017 with Thunderbirds!

Thank you for the information regarding Chateaudun.
Last year two ramps were used at Evreux: one for the Mirages (northern) and one for the Rafales and Alpha Jets (southern).

As an aside, now that Creil is closed, where is the northern QRA located?

Re: Paris 14-07-2017 with Thunderbirds!

Anything known regarding operating bases for the flypast? Last years saw Evreux for most of the fixed-wings and Villacoubly for the helos. But what about this year? NOTAM shows that one ramp at Evreux will be reserved for participating aircraft. And USAF? Flying out of Fairford? The ALAT a/c operat...

Re: Tag der Bundeswehr 11 June 2016 Buckeburg

We paid a late visit to the tag der Bundewehr and are able to add a few notes to the foregoing: The UH-1 sim in the Ausbildungwerkstatt carried a CAE c/n plate no.0004 on the rear of the cabin. The Bo.105 noted as '87+10' also wore '67+10' in large black marker pen writing on the rear cabin bulkhead...

The grey RF-4C 'dead ahead' as you left by the control tower entrance was CR.12-54/12-63 outside the Officers Mess.
Does this sound like the one you were seeking?

I agree with Numbercruncher. I have been on trade days in recent years (having registered) and never had to show id. I've never needed to wear a collar and tie either :)

These are the a/c that set out for Yeovilton? I don't believe T-428 made it that far.

Bradley,
B-67 and L-10 were on the west side of one of the small white tents to the rear of the crowd line
J-642 was in one of the small white tents
The MB.339s were towards the western end of the main flight line
I didn't note J-021 on Saturday 15th.

Rob,

Re '1978' /(909).

Have a look at Phil's picture of 909 on Eurodemobbed taken in 2010. That shows the serial without the white outline and so might answer your question.
