Amost every day you will have a couple of Büchel Tornados shooting PD's. Jagel ones are rare.

Take Offs for the morning wave generally between 0900 and 1000 loc time. Afternoon wave between 1430 and 1515 loc time. Expect around 6 aircraft per wave (others are flying at Wittmund) plus the occasional visitor. The day shown by Olli was exceptionally good.

First of all, why didn't you take the 2014 issue?

The NOTAM is a bit misleading. If I read it correct then it means normal day ops next week as well as the week after until thursday 26 Feb 1200 Loc time. Thereafter the field will be closed for the carneval season until tuesday 4 March 1330 loc time.

Hello Newbie, Neuburg is a very nice place to watch aircraft and take photographs. Unfortunately the wing will deploy to Lechfeld starting in week 7 due to rwy re-construction at their home base. Lechfeld is bad for photos at both rwy sides - aircraft are still high and what makes things complicated...

You don't have to be on base to take such taxi shots - if the aircraft take intersection 1 for runway 25 (which is unfortunately not too often the case).

If I remember it right it was about 1615 loc time (+- 10 minutes).

There was no TORNADO flying this morning, which gives me the impression that they are preparing the aircraft for recovery back to Büchel on thursday.
