Passed Pratica di Mare yesterday (LOG to follow) and on base (next to crossroad Via di Arno and Via di Pratica) they are preparing a Tornado for preservation. Anyone for its ID? (It was under a camouflage net yesterday, so impossible to ID). Will add a picture next week.

Regular AATC mission is to share knowledge to ANG AFRC units. Each ANG/AFRC F-16 unit sends one plane with an instructor pilot from that unit for a certain period.

Smart way to get additional money. Shrinking a proven-fleet that is already to small. No way congress gonna give permission for this. When there is no dedicated training squadron, they can better retire the whole fleet.
