Re: Welk type vliegtuig in reclame?

Re: Welk type vliegtuig in reclame?

Re: Budel-Kempen 17-8-2018

I had no idea we had that many PC-XII's registered in the Netherlands nowadays....Used to visit Budel regularly 15-20yrs ago, haven't been there in ages. Is worth a stop next time I'm in the area.

Re: Spotting directions for North Island/Miramar/Camp Pendle

went to Miramar and had a good visit, no trouble at all with police. Spend about three-four hours on several locations including photography in the landing zone. Would like to hear some more info. How was flying activity (you were there in a weekend right?). At which spots did you stay? I was there...

Re: Welk type vliegtuig in reclame?

Still 20 S-208M are in service with 60 Stormo at Guidonia.
That many still! Hope to catch a couple then. Mainly used for glider towing and to keep pilots with a desk job current, I guess?

Re: Spotting directions for North Island/Miramar/Camp Pendle

For North Island, the northwestern end of Coronado Beach is the place to be. I don't know if they fly during the weekend though. Don't forget to check out the USCG HH-60's at nearby San Diego International Airport. And of course the museum carrier in the port near the city center! If there is no fly...

Indeed, that's because it is an unofficial nickname...
Thanks for the quick reply, I was already wondering if I had missed something in all these years.

Is 'Cougar' for the C-21A an official USAF name? I don't think I ever noted it before.
