I wish they have red meatballs on the Japanese F35 !oh well! for now its all grey!!!

REQ: Real or fake Hornet on CVN-71?

dear all, while visiting the USS Midway in San Diego port last week, CVN-71 USS Theodore Roosevelt was for maintenance on the other side of the bay. The only thing on deck that looked like a plane was an engineless Hornet, aptly coded 71. I guess it is some sort of load trainer, does anybody know if...

Re: Monday 09jan2017 Istres: test flights Qatari Rafale star

thought production of the Rafales was at Bordeaux. So first flight woud have been flight from Bordeaux to Istres, or even before that. Pieter The article doesn't say that this was its first flight, only that it started the first flight tests. The flight from Bordeaux might not be considered as a te...

Re: Brussels Airport November 2016 (civ)

Indeed, fine pics. My advise would only be to stick more or less to a standard format, the last two pictures are a bit too 'flat' in my opinion.

Re: Key West Sundowners

What squadron is the hunter?
It belongs to ATAC, a private company hired by the USN for adversary duties, missile simulation etc. (At least) three were present at Key West in that period. I was on holiday with my family in the area around that period too. Unfortunately no base visit for me....

REQ: preserved Y-7 in Hangzhou

Hello all, in march 2015 I noted a Y-7 preserved in front of a government building in Hangzhou, not far from the airport Xiaoshan. I found an item on the internet mentioning that a former Air China Y-7 had been placed there, including a picture, but unfortunately the registration is not readable. Do...

Nice sunny shots! Is Cathay using A350 equipment for each day they fly to Düsseldorf? Just got back with CX yesterday at Amsterdam. Nothing wrong with a 773 of course but it would be nice to fly on an A350 for once, to see the difference. Living in Arnhem means that I can easily choose between both ...

Hi all, yesterday morning, around 9.45am, I was about to enter the 'Koelnmesse' (Cologne Exposition Center) when I suddenly heard props approaching. It turned out to be a P-3 Orion making a low pass over the city. Great sight and sound! Anybody for the number (I guess it was German navy). Best regar...

It might be racist against rich white people  ! How about the villas near the coast that might get flooded when the sea water level rises...in other words, what a =censored= protest.
