No, the first RNLAF demoteam must have been "Vijf vingers aan één hand" (5 fingers on one hand) with the Fokker D-VII, in the 1920's.

Request: Berlin-Tegel 22AUG08

I am looking for the serial of a Luftwaffe Transall, parked on the military ramp at Tegel this morning, 22AUG08 at 09.30lt.
I could not identify it, as I only saw it head-on from the terminal and from my seat on board of a LH A300, during take-off.

Anybody able to help me?

Thanks,
Gerard

Likely candidate is N624US.
For technical reasons N624US will not operate in/out of Frankfurt today. It is still scheduled for tomorrow, 20AUG though.

Wow, you guys are fast in posting a report

2 corrections from my side (from my photos):

72+67 wore a THR-30 badge
84+42 wore a MTHR-25 badge

By the way, on 13AUG08 98+11 (74+11) had arrived in Fritzlar as the first Tiger for KHR-36. I did not see a unit-badge on it yet.

Although the name Laro does not have a meaning here in Germany, those who serve/served in the Dutch military will know "LARO" as an abbreviation. Due to his off-the-...

Beautiful photo's, but in my opinion it is a waste to present them this way, like a booklet.
