Re: F-16s returning from Red Flag

Great find Mark.

Too bad they couldn´t wait one more day for me to maybe catch them upon arrival when in the area.

Re: Coleman Barracks AAF (ETOR) - 2013 MIL

The next shipment is due next Thursday (see: http://forum.scramble.nl/viewtopic.php?f=44&t=92697&start=120). A total of 16 Apaches would be delivered by road for assumingly final assembly at Coleman Barracks. However, what astonnishes me, if already 2 shipments of this vessel have been done in the p...

Last week she started moving around 16:10lt (passing the locks and leaving the port at 17.23lt), so I think she is on schedule.

Good hunting everybody!

Hi René,

Yes they are real time (depending on your refreshing time). You can see the latest recieved vessel position by clicking onto the vessel details.

Re: Ship with helicopters @ inland waterway - 2013 MIL

If the Vera is moving at the same speed as before (and same as her sistership Dynamica), we could expect her moving for the next 15-16hrs before crossing the border with Germany.

So best chance is to see her this afternoon if you want to observe her during daylight hours.

Re: Ship with helicopters @ inland waterway - 2013 MIL

Hi Elmar, Thanks for unveiling this mystery and your great log. Was the vessel unloaded at the Natostrasse near the village of Nordheim? Or unloaded further south? No problems while being there and taking pics? Lastely, can you advise if those helicopters were towed away instantly to the airfield vi...

Re: Ship with helicopters @ inland waterway - 2013 MIL

I'm equally surprised, and could not find any supporting proof on the web regarding this double deck. Unfortunately there are not many pics on the web, so we might have been 'fooled' during the many past trips this/these vessel(s) made. Anyway, I'll be looking forward for the log of Coleman so I can...

Re: Ship with helicopters @ inland waterway - 2013 MIL

Looking at their voyage history, both vessel (Dynamica & Vera) seem to operate on a 7 days roundtrip (give or take a few hours). This means we could expect the MS Vera to go upstream again from Antwerp on Fridayafternoon Feb-1st with her next load. The Dynamica should be expected to do so on Mondaya...
