Belachelijk dat onze KLu F-16's voor zo iets onzinnigs worden gebruikt. Om nog maar niet te spreken over de kosten om twee vliegvelden te openen op deze feestdag. Waardoor dus ook weer personeel op hun vrije dag moet komen opdraven..... Als ze zoiets willen doen, doe het dan een dag later als de vel...

I saw some images of the debris on television this morning and although
they talk about one pilot, it looks like it was a two-seater. The canopy was
showed, which really looked like a dual-canopy. So it probably is a
F/A-18D of the US Marine Corps.

..... Beech 200? Made two passes just before 17.00 lt (could have been a Flight Inspection one, not 100%) Correct!!! the Beech was a Calibration-aircraft.... This one came from Leeuwarden and made some approaches at Volkel. After the approaches at Volkel it went to Eindhoven for refuel.... Best reg...

Just got back from rainy Volkel.

The C-17 is still parked at the crossline.
And both MdM 2000's took off around 14.10lt for a local mission.
