In those days they were based at Sembach in Germany with the 704th TASS. They flew there from 1976 until 1985 and in that period it was a regular visitor to Soesterberg. First they were light grey and in the last 4 years they changed into the lizard camo.

Just before the Lightnings were taken out of service the 32nd TFS had a rotation with the Lightnings of no.11 Squadron.
