What could be the reason for this? The more relaxed winter season? Slot restrictions at LHR? The last seems to be the most likely expanation.

*like* i am awaiting the official announcement from the airline and Rotterdam airport. In considder it only 100% firm after the press release. Let's hope that the Schiphol -group (read KLM) don't blow up these beautifull intentions. You must be out of your mind if you block any possitive development...

Normaal gesproken ben ik erg pro-uitbreiding van Luchthavens. Maar kom op zeg. Lelystad is geen logische plek om (nog meer) luchtvaart te realiseren terwijl andere regionale luchthavens zoals Rotterdam, Eindhoven en Groningen niet eens voor hun volle capaciteit worden benut. Helaas, foutj(???) van slot coordination lees ik net op rtm-info forum, kist gaat helaas gewoon naar Schiphol.

^^ Het heeft dus (zoals ik al had gedacht) totaal geen nut om Lelystad te ontwikkellen met het doel om Schiphol te ontlasten. Dan hoef je daar ook niet te investeren. Da's simpel natuurlijk. Rotterdam kan dan wel een bescheiden rol spelen. Wat meer transavia's op Rotterdam zal de TMA toch niet gelij...
