And you can easily walk from the terminal to the museum. It is only about 200m (exit the terminal and walk to the left).

Rising fuel prices or not, Emirates is still not big enough. At the hand over ceremony for their first A380, Emirates signed a LOI for 30 A330s and 30 A350s. So not a firm order yet, but this will probably get in the books someday.... More info.

Hebben die mannen van Kingfisher dan nog niet gehoord van de vliegtax?
Met alleen maar intercontinentale vluchten kan dat toch aardig duurdere tickets opleveren (hoewel niet voor overstappers...).

Anyway, eerst zien dan geloven, maar het biedt wel weer kansen voor A380s op SPL!

You can see the taxiway and runway easily from the museum and behind the L29s you can probably take some shots as well. I haven't tried that though.

Thanks all for the comments, and It's good to see they actually took action since the nineties and put a lot of aircraft from storage up on display. Thx for the pics! Yes indeed, although they still have a lot to do. But it is clear they are working on many of the exhibits (look at the MiG-29 below)...
