Kan van de 200 mm niks zeggen, maar de 300/2,8 VRII is beter dan de 200-400 en verdraagt een Tc17 prima. Heb beide lenzen en gebruik de 200-400 weinig meer. De 200-400 heeft een issue met onderwerpen meer dan 300 meter verderop; die willen dan wel eens niet meer zo scherp zijn. Ik zou de 200 of 300 ...

I have the VRII version, fantastic lens, easily handheld IMHO, stellar optics. I have a 200-400 as well, but the 300/2,8 is superior. AF aquisition is far better than the 300/F4. Get one if you can

I do, it is a mediocre solution. it would save the money for a Nikkor 300/F4. The TC1.7E II shines with the 300mm/2,8 VR II prime making it a very handy 500 mm
