Re: Ben Gurion Intl Airport (LLBG) (MIL) 2015

Mini-US invasion this Sunny Sunday morning: KC-135R 38018 from the 155th Nebraska ANG (there was an AK Boomer two weeks ago, both were involved in the recent Juniper Cobra exercise) and a very pleasant C-17A 66164 from the 60th at Travis.

Nepal Earthquake disaster relief

Not sure if this is in the right place but no doubt the Moderator will assist: Departing LLBG just now is 103 squadron C-130J 662 with 661 in trail. Both are packed full of desperately needed humanitarian aid for the distressed region. B.707 295 should be joining shortly. And here is the 661 ready t...

Re: Counting down the still unsold C-17s...

Noted outside at Long Beach end-Jan were N270ZD, N271ZD, N272ZD and 177705. I thought it odd that the latest would be the only one in customer colours. As an aside 00223 was in Ben Gurion, Israel, yesterday / this morning currently the "last" USAF a/c.
