Re: NTM 2017 at Landivisau Spottersdays 8/14 June

To correct my own posting: J-368 is an F-16BM of course, not an F-16AM. My mobile phone auto correction function can be so annoying sometimes...

Frank, Rafale M 2 was in the maintenance hangar but towed outside, fueled and put back in around 1600 hrs. 46 was on the flightline in the morning, but towed into a box and replaced by 10 mid-morning.

Re: NTM 2017 at Landivisau Spottersdays 8/14 June

David, we noted Gazelles ..../GEC and ..../GCP as the 2 missing ones. Tigres 2024/BHO and (2018)/BHF (tiger c/s) were seen June 7 and 9, probably hangared on June 8. Falcon 10 143 left at 0910 hrs. Dutch F-16AM J-646 plus F-16AM J-368 and Rafale M's 38 were seen on June 7 and 9, not sure whether the...

Re: Wittmund (ETNT) 2017 MIL

I doubt if they are going to swap Eurofighters at all. I suspect that the number of 15 mentioned in the article refers to the total number of Eurofighters operated by Austria, not the number of aircraft that will come to Wittmund.

Additions to the above log: Skyhawks 337 and 531 flew two missions, while 532 and 542 only did engine runs. A-4Ns C-FGZD/367 and C-FGZH/534 could be seen in the hanger. Around 1630LT four EF2000s from TLG71 took off: 30+85 QRA 30+86 QRA Followed by: 30+82 31+12 (no badge) In the second part of the a...

Re: EHLW 18-04-2017

The missing Norwegian F-16AM is 668.

Furthermore, F-15C 85-0096 made an emergency landing on runway 27 (although runway 05 was in use all day). It caught the cable and blocked both runways for almost half an hour as it came to a standstill at/close to the runway crossing.

Re: EHLW 31-03-2017

Correction/additions to Arjan's morning log:

F-15C 86-0161 also flew, it took off after 83-0012/JZ (so second Eagle to take off).
The Eurofighter that took off last was 31+30.
Falcon 20 G-FRAU took off as the first aircraft in the morning, not the last.

Re: EHLW 24-03-2017 MIL

Eerste 6 staan op Bangor, Maine.
Andere 6 zo goed als zeker nog op thuisbasis bij New Orleans, Louisiana.
Goede kans dus dat de eerste 6 eerder op de middag al aankomen.

No, tomorrow probably some more to make the total 12 :D
The answer is yes, because 30+83 is missing from the list. A total of 10 arrived today, not 9. So probably 2 more to come on Friday.

Op laatstgenoemde datum heb ik ook een Deense Gulf en 2 Duitse Marine buizen in mijn log staan. Misschien frist dat het geheugen een beetje op! Geen slechte dag by the way...
