Re: Operational Dutch F-16's

It was announced as its final flight as Tester for Kantoor Testvliegen and it would continue as Trainer ... Not necessarily would continue as trainer, but rather could. In January. Apparently it did not, possibly because J-368 was fully serviceable as 312 Squadron's trainer. But J-368 will be taken...

According to the notes with this image, it states J-066 made it's final flight on 22/12/2021?

Re: Moron 13/01/2022

Regarding Typhoon C.16-20/11-20. At no time did I say that this aircraft was now based at Moron. The Spanish Air Force have been re-coding the entire Typhoon fleet over the past year or so and C.16-12/11-20 is one such example. Although this aircraft has been based at Gatafe for many years it has r...

Re: Souda Bay 2021 - MIL

Thanks both. It was in strong backlight and saw mostly just the underside, briefly, but it looked too glossy for a USMC Osprey. Never mind, it's just a regular MV-22 from the Iwo Jima then. Maybe it will dock here, let's see. This was probably one of the two USAF CV-22B that recently transited back...

Re: Souda Bay 2021 - MIL

JAG66 and JAG55 just departed, heading south-east. 2x MC-12W USAF. Did not see them arrive as I was away for 2 weeks so not sure if they are transiting or doing missions from here. Probably the former. Both RC-135s are also up, 1 patrolling the Black Sea and the other the Middle East coast. JAG66 0...
