Two more: http://www.monkeysee.nl/luchtvaart/cessna.jpg Normally these small thingies are not my cup-of-tea for photographing, but the "trial-shot" of this Cessna came out quite well. http://www.monkeysee.nl/luchtvaart/Beaver_N1799F.jpg Another Beaver. This one had a Vargas-style pinup painted on th...

Rond half 4 even langs het veld gereden. Bij het Jetcenter stond de N407GC (gulf 4) en een Challenger met registratie in zilver op de kist geschreven. Het lukte mij niet te ontcijferen. Was dit wellicht de G-REYS?

Airtankers A Go Go!

While updating the Bushplane topic, I came across some prints that have been used in a tripreport published in Scramble Magazine back in either 1997 or early 1998. A different topic but quite the same feel to it. Once again the pictures are flatbed scans of so-called digiprints. When I paid my first...

Another couple of pics. http://www.monkeysee.nl/luchtvaart/brad_rusty.jpg A nice banking manoeuvre of Twin Beech C-FRPL over one of the quarter million lakes of Northwestern Ontario, in the Summer of 1999. Our pilot was Brad, a very good guy, flying for Rusty Myers at the time. Unfortunately we lost...

Apart from having my rental car literally taken apart by customs in England once, I have had several checks of my camera equipment. In South Africa and Egypt customs wanted to see receipts, of which I had copies with me (always carry them). Been checked once at Schiphol, where they wanted to see the...

Did some more digging at home and found another couple of prints to filll this topic. Once again the quality isn't al that, being that they are made from so-called digiprints (slides printed on photopaper) then scanned on a flatbed. But here goes: http://www.monkeysee.nl/luchtvaart/beaver_ketchum.jp...

In the meantime I came across some other prints in the office, so scanned them this morning. Here goes: http://www.monkeysee.nl/luchtvaart/n...

Bushplanes, floats and radials!

Hi All, after posting my first two pics in the Dinosaur topic, I thought it might be nice to start a new one with one of my favourite topics: Bushplanes! Pics are not the greatest quality, scanned with a normal flatbed and no photoshopping done. But, still some of them are quite nice to see I think....
