Belgrade city 13.09.2019

During the debriefing after a week with business visits in Serbia, we were sitting outside in the center of Belgrade. Jet noise made us look up, and overflying were: 3x MiG.29 3x J.22 Orao, incl. 1x special c/s (--> likely 25207?) 3x (Super) Galeb 1x EC.145 2x Mi.8 3x Gazelle 1x MiG.29 a bit higher ...

Re: Saab AJS 37 Viggen of Swedish Air Force Historic Flight

Basically understand your position, Ruggero. Often I see videos and photos with a watermark right in the middle, and I wonder 'If you don't want people to enjoy this photo / video, why do they upload?' Thinking about your rights is understandable, maybe a watermark can be put in a position that stil...

Short note about 144614, which was visible on ADSB as 144615, also taken over to ads-b.nl with this information: http://www.ads-b.nl/aircraft.php?id_aircraft=12759973 Same source states no activities for 144614 recently, so one of those wrong i/d stories .... eyeball confirmation is better ;o) Regar...

Re: Moscow flypast 09 May 2019

Hi grun087, Thanks for the reply. The Russian planes is a "should have seen once" thing, and so far I only did MAKS 1995 ..... so it is due, as many of the current types I did not see flying, also not a Tu.95 ;o) Good thing is I can extend my stay here for a day (nice bosses at home and in the compa...

Re: Moscow flypast 09 May 2019

Hi all, just me again, this time from Moscow. With bad luck. The training days 4./5. May were alternates. As they trained 04.05. they did not fly today. Bad luck pt. 1 Bad luck pt. 2 for me is that, while there is still information in the net, in different sources, about the big rehearsal 06.05., it...

Re: Moscow flypast 09 May 2019

OK I decided t just do it. 02:05 early arrival 5 May, heading towards Bol'shoy bridge Moscow central, and hanging around until hopefully the daily practice run of the planes will happen around 10 / 11 a.m. Another try on 6 May for the full rehearsal, then back to Domodedovo. In case that somebody el...

Re: Moscow flypast 09 May 2019

Hi again, following grunt087's hint I found something about the Victory Day rehearsals for Moscow on wikipedia, see the link below. Based on that May 4 to 6 would give more options to see the aircraft flypast than taking the risk for may 9, plus spending several days before. Has anybody done the 'mu...

Tuulos-Hämeenlinna

Hi all,

Passing by as a co-driver, I noted MiG.21bis MG-124 (read) plus a Draken next to the main road through the village. Based on Scramble data base DK-249, should be marked as DK-247, but I could not read that.

Re: Moscow flypast 09 May 2019

Hi grunt087, Many thanks, I missed your reply earlier, saw it just now. Great information, especially that the rehearsal may take place days before! Not sure whether I can spend several days there, so needs to be thought about very well .... Moscow taxi drivers ... yep, I know them, but mostly I am ...

Re: Open days Balkan region 2019

Hi all, thank you for the feedback. Started the discussion to trigger some discussion and information, hopefully, as often information about events in the 3 given countries becomes known only after they happened. In some cases I even stumbled over photos on airliners.net only. And I did not mention ...

Czech Open days 2019

Hi all, Some more thoughts about this year's season. Pardubice and Caslav are an idea for us. But ... some main targets might be gone by then. Does the phase out of the L.39 in May include the L.39 of the CLV LOM as well, or just the regular units? And with their new Enstrom's being very active, bas...

Moscow flypast 09 May 2019

Hi all,

With the season planning in progress, I have in mind seeing the flypast over Moscow 1st time.
Would it be worth going for their practice the day(s) before as well, any experience?

Thanks & regards
Martin
