I also noticed the new safety stencils (rescue arrow etc.) About time we loose the old fashioned 80's stencils. man this viper looks in crisp condition, compliments!

The Tristar brought back the wounded soldier indeed. The ambulance was escorted by 5 KMAR motobikes and left in a hurry through the (spottersweg) gate. Let's hope the guy is going to make it.

Today at 10:10 two fully armed (live weapons AIM120 & AIM9M) F16AM took off from Volkel in what looked like an alpha scramble. Does anybody have any more info on this?

Today the contractor (Heijmans) placed a big white concrete cross just in front of rw 28/10. (in the grass on the other side of the Langenbergseweg) This marks the start of a complete resurfacing and rework of this runway and it's lighting.
