I have no idea why, but there are also hulks of S-61s that had crashed in Brazil.
My only guess is that they were trying to put their hands on any S-61s they could get for the parts.
Those 61s in the hangar look amazing.

Hi All, Back in February I had the pleasure to visit Carson Helicopters grave yard. This must be the largest gathering of Sikorsky Jolly Green Giant in US :) They have 5 or 6 S-61s in pristine condition in the hangars, but the hangars were off for photography.
