Unfortunately, no I don't recall any tail band as it flashed past as we landed, it was late afternoon, around 1730 and there was only 1x C-17 that I could see, near the stored DC8 etc, well away from the C-32As. We couldn't get out of the Hertz car park for 20 minutes while the politicians returned ...

I know that it's not CIV, but I thought that I saw a C-17 on 25-August, on the other side of the airfield to where the 2x C-32As were parked. Does anyone know its serial? Many thanks.

Thanks Thomas. In case it's of interest, I've put my photos of '2', '3' and '4' at Stuttgart on https://germanyplanes.wordpress.com/. These were taken on 2-Aug-16 and '1' was not seen. Does any UH-60 expert out there who know why 01-26882 has a pointed nose?

96143 appears to have been back at Stuttgart on 10-Jan-12. From the photos posted above on its December visit are we any the wiser? It seems to have 12 windows on the starboard side plus a blank, so does this make it a contender for N610G in disguise? If so, it's re-stickered overnight in the US for...
