All we, the spotters, can do is behave well, promote the creation of legal alternatives and encourage the authorities to team up with us, not scare us away. Erik I agree with you; however, this has been tried several times in the past by the volunteers of the now defunct Schiphol Aviation Group: we...

I know the meant hole, and to my knowledge this fence doesn't belong to the Airport-perimeter fence but is "just" a fence around some building from RWS.Greets RicoS It is not; it is part of the total fence running along the A5 motorway; the RWS-building has a fence of its own that is link...

One small question from me as well:

Schiphol website gives ISR201/2 as "cancelled", yet a B757 in (basic) ElAl c/s came over Almere at around 20.25 lt. Was that the Israir or another flight? TIA!

I agree; I saw D-HORG in this colour scheme parked on the ramp at Lelystad on May 5. It belongs to Rotorflug and has white "RWE" titles in the black part of the German flag design on the fuselage.

Re: Tu-95

And this is what i read on flugzeugforum.de: Die Botschaft der Russischen Föderation hat gestern die Teilnahme bzw. den geplanten Überflug einer Tu-95 zur ILA 2008 offiziell abgesagt. Translation: The Russian Embassy (in Germany) has officially stated that the planned participation/flyby of a Tu95 ...

2. Through the window of a building which is I think an annexe to the museum I saw Fokker Dr.1 replica (PH-DRI) & Nieuport 28 replica (PH-NIE). Behind them was what appeared to be another F.27 fuselage section, without a fin. Is this the remains of PH-NIV, please? Or maybe something else? 3. In...

Reading the 2nd part of your posting, I think you relate to the B-17? Now, somehow I dón't think Guiness is relating to the B-17... Just adding 2 and 2 together: Guiness being THE Irish beer (refreshes the parts other beers can't reach  ), given Guiness' interest in Irish Aviation, his Irish ...

I've seen only once a S64F when driving by at the autostrada ...but it would be really nice to see a chopper like Bubba in the air! I've seen sister ship "748" (N173AC) in action last year over Corfu, Greece. It is a very impressive sight (and sound) and we were more than happy to...
